LONDON, Feb 23 (Reuters) - British media regulator Ofcom said on Monday it had fined porn company 8579 LLC 1.35 million pounds ($1.82 million) for not having age checks in place, the latest company to face penalties under its new online safety regime.
Ofcom said it had added an extra 50,000 pound fine for 8579's failure to respond to an information request.
