In a move to bolster its presence in the property finance space, multi-specialist bank Leumi UK announces the appointments of Daniel Whiteman and Andrew Boyce to its property finance team

Daniel Whiteman has been appointed Relationship Manager and Andrew Boyce joins as Deputy Relationship Manager at the London-based subsidiary of Israel’s international bank. With more than a decade’s experience in the financial services industry, Daniel brings a wealth of experience to his new post. Most recently, he served as Relationship Director for Santander’s Corporate and Commercial Banking division and, prior to this, acted as Relationship Manager for Nationwide’s Commercial Real Estate Team. Meanwhile, former Worcester Warriors flanker Andrew joins him as Deputy Relationship Manager, having spent the past year as Currency Consultant at Infinity International.

In their new roles, both Daniel and Andrew will report directly to Leumi UK’s Head of Property Finance, Alasdair Houghton. Daniel will be responsible for maintaining and building on the bank’s expertise in financing residential and commercial property developments and, with Andrew’s support, will help contribute towards the bank’s growth ambitions by originating new lending opportunities and building strong working relationships with introducers and clients.

The two appointments come as Leumi UK pursues its business strategy driven by CBO Andy Mallin, which will see the bank ramp up its efforts to expand an already focused and highly skilled team in order to accelerate the growth of the business and build on the exceptional services it offers its clients.

Commenting on the appointments, Andy says: “We are delighted to welcome Daniel and Andrew on board as we look to bolster our efforts across the business lines. Daniel’s breadth of experience will be a great asset to the property finance team and will help to further enforce our expertise in this space, while Andrew’s energy and enthusiasm will ensure clients receive a quick, reliable and personal service – values that underpin the bank’s business strategy.”

With a well-established reputation in a range of construction and investment projects, Leumi UK’s Property Finance department takes pride in its close relationships with developers and investors to facilitate both the construction and refinancing of residential, mixed-use and commercial property, student accommodation, care homes and retirement living projects.
