    Tricia Koh to head commercial activities in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea

    Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific is pleased to appoint Tricia Koh as Commercial Director for Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea (collectively Hong Kong Hub) with effect from 1 November 2023. Based in Hong Kong, she is replacing Hassan Omaish who has taken up the role of Global Head of Brokers and Partnerships stationed in Paris.

    Ms Koh initially joined Allianz Group in 2007 through a graduate program. Between 2009 and 2014, she worked in Market Management at Allianz Commercial (formerly Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty). In 2017, she re-joined Allianz Group as Regional Marketing Director at Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific, where she headed a team across the region for development and implementation of a range of sales and marketing strategies across multiple distribution channels. Ms Koh holds a master degree in International Taxation Law and a bachelor degree in commerce from University of Sydney, and a second master degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Deakin University.

    Commenting on Ms Koh’s appointment, General Manager of Hong Kong Hub Edmond Lee says, “Tricia’s international experience extends beyond business transactions. She possesses a deep understanding of the nuances of conducting business in different cultural contexts. Her ability to navigate through the complexities of varying markets positions her as a leader capable of forging strong partnerships and understanding the unique needs of our customers within Hong Kong Hub. In her new role, Tricia will oversee all aspects of our commercial operations in the three markets, which include developing and executing market-specific strategies, fostering key relationships with customers and partners, and ensuring the continued growth and success of our presence in these markets.”

    Ms Koh says, “I am humbled by this appointment, and I bring with me an ambition to further develop our portfolio in these vibrant markets and it is my goal to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers and partners. My commitment is to lead the team in crafting solutions that address current and future demands. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, and I look forward to working collaboratively to strengthen our portfolio in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea.”
