Vennre has today announced the appointment of Ahmed El-Sharkasy as Chief Product Officer (CPO). This strategic hire comes on the back of a breakout year for the company, underscoring its mission to redefine wealth creation across the EMEA region. Vennre simplifies wealth creation, enabling HENRYs (High Earners, Not Rich Yet) to access, manage, and monitor exclusive private market investments with greater control and confidence to build long-term private wealth.

Over the past 18 months, Vennre has experienced strong growth, successfully facilitating over $20 million in total transaction value through its proprietary investment platform and now have close to 1,000 qualified users engaging with Vennre across MENA and Europe. The company has launched 10 exclusive private market deals spanning real estate and private equity, and rolled out its fully developed mobile app on both iOS and Android. Vennre also launched a Zakat calculation tool for private investments to make zakat calculation easier for investors, and has also partnered with Shariyah Review Bureau to ensure compliance with Islamic principles

Ahmed El-Sharkasy’s appointment as Chief Product Officer marks a new chapter for Vennre. In his role, he will oversee product innovation, user experience and platform development across the MENA region. Ahmed brings a history of product leadership experience from fintech, edtech, eCommerce and other sectors. His background makes him uniquely suited to support Vennre’s ambitions of building the leading Sharia-compliant private markets platform globally.

“With Ahmed joining our leadership team, we’re doubling down on building a truly intuitive and powerful platform tailored for the next generation of wealth creators in the region. His product expertise and visionary thinking will be important as we enhance investor experiences and scale across new markets. This marks the beginning, and we’re excited for what is to come,” said Ziad Mabsout, CFA, Co-Founder and CEO of Vennre.

Looking ahead, Vennre is focused on surpassing $50 million in transaction volume and expanding its product suite with portfolio analytics and investor community features. The company is committed to becoming the most trusted private markets platform for HENRYs across the MENA region. Additional C-level, advisory board announcements and expansion to Saudi Arabia will follow soon as part of Vennre’s next phase of expansion.
