Adam Phones – leading independent service provider in mobile and fixed line communications – today announced the launch of its mobile voice recording (MVR) solution in partnership with EE and Natterbox.
In January 2018, the MiFID II EU legislation will take effect, significantly extending regulatory requirements for financial organisations operating within the UK. Anyone involved in the advice chain for an intended trade, including independent financial advisors and wealth managers, must record and retain their mobile communications for five years.
This leading cloud-based MVR solution allows companies to achieve full compliance with FCA regulations and the future MiFID II legislation. Calls are recorded at network level, ensuring compatibility with any mobile device – all carried across EE – the UK’s largest telecommunications network. Other key benefits include:
Adam Toop, Founder and Chairman of Adam Phones said, “Compliance is constantly changing, and therefore any solution implemented must contain headroom to achieve more than the regulations stipulate. By integrating Natterbox’s advanced call recording technology with EE’s high speed network, Adam Phones is delivering the most compelling MVR solution through a single point of contact for contracting, billing, service and support.”
Ray Ferris, Head of Partner Solutions, EE added, “Adam Phones is not only one of a very small, elite group of suppliers granted direct access to resell EE services, but crucially the company that EE chose to collaborate with to build its indirect channel model. We’re pleased to be able to blend Adam Phones’ proven service levels, Natterbox’s MVR proposition and our award winning network to provide companies with a time proof, compliant MVR solution.”
Neil Hammerton, CEO & Co-Founder, Natterbox also commented, “Through leveraging Adam Phones’ established service expertise and EE’s world-renowned network we have ensured the consistent and high-quality deployment of our MVR solution. The implementation of our product will not only future-proof companies in advance of MiFID II in 2018, but will provide them with flexible, adaptable recording policies that will benefit them for years to come.”
