    Kuwait Finance House (KFH) – Bahrain wins 5 prestigious awards in digital and innovative banking

    Manama, Bahrain – 27th August 2020: Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain, was named Banking CEO of the Year Bahrain 2020, a prestigious award by Global Banking & Finance Review to outstanding chief executives in the banking sector in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of banking services and promotion of innovation in banking.

    KFH – Bahrain also received four more prestigious global awards, namely the Best Digital Bank in Bahrain 2020, Best Digital Islamic Bank in Bahrain 2020, the Most Innovative Retail Banking App Bahrain 2020, and the Most Innovative Retail Banking App Middle East 2020.

    Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Alkhayyat said: “We are happy to see our Bank win these global awards, recognizing its ability to maintain its leadership in the banking sector and continuing to provide outstanding offerings and innovative Islamic services, making KFH – Bahrain a leader in the Islamic banking industry. These awards reflect the global appreciation of the efforts and dedication of our employees to continue to provide innovative banking products and services”.

    Alkhayyat added: “We continue to raise the standards in the Islamic banking sector by keeping abreast of the state of the art with our innovative offerings, and this remarkable achievement underscores our assiduity and total dedication to cater to the needs of our esteemed clients with ongoing initiatives capable of constant betterment of our products and services”.

    Alkhayyat also emphasized that the Bank endeavors to steadily continue its path to growth, success and advancement in innovation, development and banking technology, and keep pace with other countries of the region, by providing the best Shari’ah compliant product and services which are optimal for clients and allow flexibility and resilience in adapting to market changes and bolstering competitiveness”.

    These awards once again recognize the Bank’s outstanding performance and leadership in developing unique products and services by continuing to invest in technology and increasing awareness of Islamic banking services to the benefit of local communities. The awards also affirm the leading role KFH – Bahrain plays in all arenas, and represent a certificate of accreditation reflecting the trust of the Bank’s clients, which has always been its main focus as they are viewed as partners in the success of all business activities.
