Volvo Cars experienced a 14% sales drop in July, with electric vehicle sales down 26%, affecting overall electrified car sales.
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) -Volvo Cars sold 49,273 cars in July, down 14% from a year earlier, the Sweden-based company said on Monday.
Volvo Cars, which is majority-owned by China's Geely, said in a statement that sales of fully electric cars fell 26% to account for 21% of total sales volumes.
Sales of electrified cars as a whole, also including plug-in hybrids, were down 21% to account for 45% of total sales volumes.
