The US State Department has approved a $103.9 million sale of AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles to NATO, with RTX Corp as the contractor.
(Reuters) -The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles and related equipment to the NATO Support and Procurement Agency for an estimated cost of $103.9 million, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.
The principal contractor for the sale will be RTX Corp, the Pentagon said in a statement.

The AIM-9X Sidewinder is a short-range air-to-air missile designed for use by fighter aircraft, known for its agility and effectiveness in combat.
