Nordic countries have signed an agreement with Nammo to ensure efficient ammunition supply, enhancing their defense capabilities.
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) -Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway have signed a new ammunition agreement with Norwegian defence equipment firm Nammo to ensure that the Nordic countries have enough ammunition, Norway's defence ministry said on Monday.
"The Nordic region needs enough ammunition, both to deter those who do not wish us well and to defend ourselves if we have to," Norwegian Defence Minister Tore Sandvik said.
The agreement will help the countries to produce and procure ammunition faster and more efficiently through Nammo, the ministry said.
