Dunelm appoints Clodagh Moriarty from Sainsbury's as new CEO, effective October 1, succeeding Nick Wilkinson who retires after seven years.
(Reuters) -Britain's Dunelm Group on Monday said Clodagh Moriarty, the chief retail and technology officer at British supermarket chain Sainsbury, will join the homeware retailer as its new CEO from October 1.
Moriarty will succeed Nick Wilkinson, who announced his retirement from the top role in February after a seven-year stint.
A retail veteran, Moriarty oversees all store operations at Britain's second-largest food retailer, Sainsbury, along with its digital strategy, customer experience and technology platforms.
