UniCredit is set to increase its stake in Generali to nearly 10%, as reported by Il Sole 24 Ore, ahead of its shareholders meeting.
MILAN (Reuters) - Italian lender UniCredit is set to raise its stake in insurer Generali close to 10% ahead of the bank's shareholders meeting, Italian daily Il Sole 24 ore reported on Wednesday citing unnamed sources.
UniCredit held a 5.229% share in Generali as of February 10, according to market watch Consob.
