    (Reuters) - Ukraine's parliament said on Monday that the country's security was ensured by support from the United States and described President Donald Trump's peacekeeping efforts as "decisive" in efforts to end the three-year-old war with Russia.

    A statement issued in English three days after a public row in the White House between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Washington's support was "more crucial than ever for the Ukrainian people".

    "The Ukrainian people desire peace more than anyone else in the world and believe that the personal role of President Donald Trump and his peacekeeping efforts will be decisive in the swift cessation of hostilities and the achievement of peace for Ukraine, Europe and the entire world," it said.
