Russian forces have recaptured Nikolayevo-Darino in the Kursk region from Ukraine, following a surprise incursion by Kyiv on August 6.
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian troops regained control from Ukraine of the village of Nikolayevo-Darino in Russia's western Kursk region, the Defence Ministry said on Monday.
Moscow's forces have been fighting to eject Ukrainian troops from Kursk since Aug. 6, when Kyiv staged a surprise incursion over the border into Russia.
