Russian air defence units successfully repelled a massive drone attack on energy infrastructure in Volgograd, with no casualties reported.
MOSCOW (Reuters) -Russian air defence units have repelled a "massive" drone attack on fuel and energy infrastructure facilities in the Volgograd region, Governor Andrey Bocharov said on Wednesday.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties, he said.
Russia's defence ministry said air defence systems had intercepted and destroyed 70 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions overnight.
