The UK is working with allies to secure peace in Ukraine after the US paused military aid, emphasizing its commitment to the region.
LONDON (Reuters) - Britain said on Tuesday it was committed to securing a lasting peace in Ukraine and it was engaging with its allies after U.S. President Donald Trump paused military aid to Kyiv.
"We remain absolutely committed to securing a lasting peace in Ukraine and are engaging with key allies in support of this effort. It is the right thing to do, and is in our interest to do so," a British government spokesperson said in a statement.
