Sweden's financial authority fined Swedbank $1.3 million for security protection violations between July 2022 and January 2024.
STOCKHOLM (Reuters) -Sweden's financial supervisory authority said on Wednesday it had fined Swedbank 12.5 million crowns ($1.29 million) for violations of security protection regulations between July 2022 and January 2024.
"The bank has not complied with rules on how companies that conduct security-sensitive activities should investigate the need for security protection and what a security protection analysis should contain," it said in a statement.
