A magnitude 6 earthquake struck off Crete, Greece, at a depth of 77 km, according to GFZ. Initially reported as 6.5, the quake's impact is under review.
(Reuters) -An earthquake of magnitude 6 struck off the coast of Crete, Greece, on Thursday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said.
The quake was at a depth of 77 km (47.85 miles), GFZ said.
GFZ had earlier assigned a magnitude of 6.5 to the earthquake.
