Canal+ has settled a tax dispute with French authorities, expecting one-off charges in 2025 but no cash impact. The broadcaster raises its cash flow forecast to over €500 million.
(Reuters) -French pay-TV broadcaster Canal+ said on Friday it has reached an agreement with authorities in France relating to a dispute on tax on television services.
The company, which was spun out of Vivendi in December, said it expects one-off charges on its income statement in the first half of 2025, which it is due to report on July 29.
It expects no impact on cash from the agreement to settle the litigation.
Canal+ raised its cash flow from operations forecast to over 500 million euros ($571.30 million) as it expects lower restructuring cash spend.
