PARIS (Reuters) - New French Prime Minister Francois Bayrou said on Monday that power will be restored for all households on the storm-ravaged Mayotte archipelago by the end of January, while its shantytowns will not be allowed to be rebuilt.
He also said a special bill for the reconstruction of Mayotte will be presented at a cabinet meeting on January 3.
