Spain's retail sales rose 6.2% in June year-on-year, according to the National Statistics Institute, marking an increase from May's revised 5.0%.
(Reuters) -Spanish retail sales rose 6.2% in June from a year earlier on a calendar-adjusted basis and excluding the effects of inflation, after rising by a revised 5.0% in May, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said on Tuesday.
May's figure was revised up from a preliminary increase of 4.8%, INE said.

Spain's retail sales rose by 6.2% in June compared to the same month last year.
Retail sales in May were revised up to a 5.0% increase from a preliminary figure of 4.8%.
The reported increase in retail sales excludes the effects of inflation.
