Russia has lifted tsunami warnings for Kamchatka and Sakhalin after a strong earthquake, ensuring safety for the affected areas.
MOSCOW (Reuters) -Russian authorities have cancelled tsunami alerts for the Kamchatka Peninsula, Sakhalin Island and the town of Severo-Kurilsk in the northern Kuril islands following Wednesday's powerful earthquake, officials said.
