France condemns Russia's revocation of Le Monde journalist's accreditation, leaving the paper without a Moscow presence since the 1950s.
PARIS (Reuters) - France condemns the Russian decision to revoke accreditation for a Le Monde journalist, a spokesman for the French foreign ministry said on Thursday.
Russia said earlier on Thursday it had withdrawn the accreditation for Le Monde's Moscow correspondent Benjamin Quénelle, in retaliation for Paris's refusal to issue a visa to a Russian reporter. This will leave the paper without a presence in Moscow for the first time since the 1950s.
