VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Francis is no longer using mechanical ventilation for help breathing at night, and his doctors have stated he is "confirmed to be improving" as he recovers from double pneumonia, the Vatican said on Wednesday.
Francis, 88, was admitted to Rome's Gemelli hospital on February 14 with a severe respiratory infection that has required evolving treatment.
