Nissan and Mitsubishi will launch new electric models using Renault's Ampere platform by 2025, including Mitsubishi's Eclipse Cross and Nissan's Micra.
(Reuters) -Mitsubishi will start selling the new Eclipse Cross, its first fully electric SUV for Europe and the first to be made using Renault's electric vehicle architecture, by the end of the year, the company said on Tuesday in a joint statement with Renault and alliance partner Nissan.
Nissan will also begin Europe sales of its next-generation electric Micra, also built using Renault's Ampere platform, at the same time, the companies added.

Mitsubishi will start selling the new Eclipse Cross, its first fully electric SUV for Europe, by the end of the year.
Nissan will begin Europe sales of its next-generation electric Micra at the same time as Mitsubishi's Eclipse Cross.
Both the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and Nissan electric Micra are built using Renault's Ampere platform.
