Finland's government voted against Neste CEO's salary package, citing it as unreasonable. The decision was made before Neste's AGM on March 25.
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Finland has voted against oil refiner and biofuel maker Neste's remuneration report, the government, which owns a 44.2% stake in the company, said on Monday.
"The government considers that the remuneration package of the company's CEO has been structured in such a way that it cannot be considered reasonable as a whole," the government said in a statement.
The government said it had voted in advance while Neste's annual general meeting will be held on March 25.
