    Barclays Names Schulte Co-Head of Global Investment Syndicate

    (Reuters) - Barclays has named Scott Schulte global co-head of its investment grade syndicate, whose U.S. unit he had headed since October 2023, an internal memo showed.

    Schulte will co-lead the team with Marco Baldini.

    Barclays also hired Sam Wareham from Deutsche Bank in February to head the corporate investment grade syndicate for Barclays Europe, the memo said. He will be based in Paris and reports to Yu-Miao 'Yumi' Yang.

    Joining the leveraged finance syndicate are Bjorn Andersen, a former Nordea Bank managing director who had also worked at Deutsche Bank in London; and Anastasia Chernetskaya, a former Deutsche Bank director. Both will be based in London and report to Ben Burton.
