Former Campari CEO Matteo Fantacchiotti joins Cygnet Gin as partner and chairman after leaving Campari. Cygnet Gin, founded in 2022, is based in Wales.
MILAN (Reuters) - Former Campari's Chief Executive Matteo Fantacchiotti, who left the helm of the Italian spirits group in September, has joined Cygnet Gin as a partner and chairman, the recently launched gin brand said on Monday.
The company, maker of Cygnet 22 gin whose bottles are priced at around £50 each, was founded in 2022 and it is based in Wales.
In September Matteo Fantacchiotti abruptly quit Campari after just five months in charge of the Italian spirits group, with the company citing personal reasons for his departure.
