Mediobanca's outgoing CEO sends farewell letter to bank's staff

MILAN (Reuters) -Mediobanca's CEO Alberto Nagel, poised to step down after losing the battle to resist a takeover bid from Monte dei Paschi di Siena, thanked the bank's staff in a farewell letter on Thursday.

Nagel writes "I will never be able to thank you enough for giving me the privilege of working with you," in the letter seen by Reuters.
