Italy has approved a multi-billion-euro bridge project to connect Sicily, with backing from Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini. The project aims to improve regional connectivity.
ROME (Reuters) -Italy on Wednesday gave the final approval, via a government technical committee, to the multi-billion-euro project to build a bridge to Sicily, the League party of Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini said.
