Russia's UN Ambassador states non-recognition of UN sanctions on Iran, creating parallel realities in international relations.
(Reuters) -Russia does not recognize the reimposition of United Nations sanctions on Iran, Russia's U.N. Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia told reporters on Wednesday when asked if Moscow would enforce the measures.
"We'll be living in two parallel realities, because for some snapback happened, for us it didn't," he said at a press conference to mark the start of Russia’s presidency of the U.N. Security Council for October.
