Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis nominates Constantine Tassoulas for presidency, with a vote due by mid-February as President Sakellaropoulou's term ends.
ATHENS (Reuters) - Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis nominated parliament speaker Constantine Tassoulas from his New Democracy party for the Greek presidency on Wednesday.
President Katerina Sakellaropoulou's five-year term expires in March and a parliamentary vote for the largely ceremonial post must take place by mid-February.
