    (Reuters) -New car registrations in France rose 0.97% in September from a year earlier to 140,354 vehicles, data from French car body PFA showed on Wednesday.

    Tesla sales in the country climbed 2.74% to 5,584 vehicles last month. Since the start of the year, Tesla's sales have slumped by 31.66%, while the overall French market has shrunk by 6.25% over the same period.
