Ferrexpo's Ukraine unit is accused of illegal mining, but operations continue unaffected. The company disputes the claims, calling them without merit.
(Reuters) - Miner Ferrexpo said on Thursday it has noted media reports of accusations made by the prosecutor's office in Ukraine against four senior managers of its unit Ferrexpo Poltava Mining about illegal mining and sale of waste products.
The group, one of the world's third-largest exporter of iron ore pellets, said its operations were unaffected by the legal case, while FPM was of the view the accusations were "without merit".
