Wildfires are uncontrolled fires that burn in forests, grasslands, or other natural areas. They can be caused by natural events like lightning or human activities, and they pose significant risks to life, property, and the environment.
European assistance refers to support provided by European countries or institutions to help member states address various challenges, including natural disasters, economic issues, or humanitarian crises.
Canadair planes are specialized aircraft designed for firefighting. They are capable of scooping water from lakes or rivers and dropping it on wildfires to help control and extinguish the flames.
