UK agricultural exports to the EU could increase by 16% under a new deal, while EU imports may rise by 8%, according to government estimates.
LONDON (Reuters) - British exports of major agricultural commodities to the European Union could increase by around 16% under Britain's new deal with the trading bloc, government estimates published on Monday showed.
The sanitary and phytosanitary deal could increase imports from the European Union by around 8%, the modelling document said.
The document did not set out a timeframe for the estimated changes.
