China and the UK seek to enhance strategic communication and mutual trust, as stated by China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi during his visit to London for a strategic dialogue.
BEIJING (Reuters) - China and the United Kingdom need to strengthen strategic communication, enhance mutual trust and demonstrate responsibility as major countries, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in a meeting with the UK prime minister on Thursday.
Wang is visiting London for a strategic dialogue with the British foreign secretary, at which both sides agreed to speed up preparations for institutional dialogues on the economy and trade, health and industrial cooperation, the Chinese foreign ministry said.
