Beazley has appointed Lindsay Shipper as the head of North America commercial property, effective April 1, succeeding Matt Westhoff.
(Reuters) - Beazley named long-time Marsh property executive Lindsay Shipper as its new North America head of commercial property, the insurance company said on Friday.
The appointment was first reported by Thomson Reuters publication The Insurer on Wednesday, citing three property market sources familiar with the matter.
London-listed Beazley said Shipper's appointment will be effective April 1, and fills in a role vacated by Matt Westhoff in October when he left to join QBE North America as commercial lines president.
Shipper will be reporting to group head of property risks, Richard Montminy, and will be based in Atlanta, according to the company.
