PARIS (Reuters) -Airbus delivered 61 jets in August, bringing deliveries by the world's largest planemaker so far this year to 434 aircraft, industry sources said on Wednesday.
The figure, fine-tuning preliminary estimates of around 60 reported by Reuters on Monday, marks a 30% increase from August last year but requires Airbus to reach a record pace in coming months as it aims to meet a full-year target of around 820 jets.
Airbus could not immediately be reached for comment.
