A2A forecasts lower earnings for 2025, with a core profit between €2.17-2.20 billion, down from €2.33 billion last year. The company plans a higher dividend payout.
(Reuters) - Italian power company A2A forecast an annual core profit of 2.17 billion to 2.20 billion euros ($2.35 billion to $2.39 billion) for 2025 on Thursday, down from 2.33 billion last year.
Italy's biggest regional utility sees 2025 net income of between 680 million and 700 million euros. In 2024, its net profit was 816 million euros, above brokerage Equita's estimate.
The Milan-based company also pledged to distribute 10 euro cents per share as an annual dividend, up 4.4% from last year.
