TAXAND HONOURED WITH 4 AWARDS AT THE ITR AMERICAS AWARDS 2014
Taxand, the world’s largest organisation of tax advisors to multinational businesses, has been awarded the ‘Latin America Tax Disputes Firm of the Year’ award for the fourth consecutive year by the International Tax Review (ITR), at its ninth annual Americas Tax Awards held in New York on 18 September 2014.
Following a record-breaking 28 nominations, Taxand was not only accredited with another regional based award with Taxand Canada winning ‘North America Indirect Tax Firm of the Year,’ but was also recognised with two deal-based awards, demonstrating that the industry continues to identify Taxand’s expertise within the Americas. Taxand Canada scooped both ‘Americas Private Equity Tax Deal of the Year’ and ‘Americas Financial Services Tax Deal of the Year’ for their client work.
The awards are determined following a combination of in-depth research by the ITR’s editorial team and consultation with tax executives, tax advisors and lawyers to gain their perspective on the ground-breaking work. Submissions from firms were also a vital part of the research.
Frederic Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman of Taxand commented: “To be nominated for a record-breaking 28 awards is testament to Taxand’s established commitment to delivering quality tax advice and client service across the Americas. Likewise, these award wins exemplify our capacity to provide outstanding tax advice across multiple service lines within the region. As controversy surrounding corporation tax issues continues to dominate governments’ agendas, Taxand maintains its reputation as go-to support for multinational corporations in times of such uncertainty and scrutiny.”
