Wick Hill was founded in 1976 and is currently one of the longest established independent IT value added distributors in Europe. According to founder and chairman Ian Kilpatrick, one of the main reasons for the VAD’s longevity is its commitment to excellence, both in the products and the services it provides.

“The emphasis for Wick Hill has always been,” said Kilpatrick, “on the value add in VAD. We provide channel partners with a comprehensive range of services, including technical, sales, marketing and financial support, plus a comprehensive training programme. We work very closely with our channel partners and give them substantial assistance to increase their sales, while maintaining a small focused portfolio.”

“What Wick Hill is about,” stressed Kilpatrick, “is making and growing markets for our suppliers and our channel partners. We have had great joint success at doing that and some of our partners have been with us for more than two decades. We would like to thank them all for their support over the years and in helping us achieve this latest record sales growth on our 38th birthday.”
