Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has appointed a new Liquidity Specialist to its South East Business Development team to support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses in the region.

Vincenzo De Gioia will work alongside business development director Peter Milcoy to provide strategic guidance to businesses with turnovers up to £25million. The pair will be responsible for creating bespoke solutions to help firms in the South East with their cash positions and to capitalise on growth opportunities in both domestic and international markets.

Vincenzo brings to the role seven years of relationship and transactional experience. He began his career working for American Express in a variety of roles from business development to sales management before joining a new start up FX brokerage in London where he was a regional sales manager.

Hannah-Louise Smith, Head of Liquidity Solutions at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, said: “SME businesses play an instrumental role in the continued resurgence of the South East economy, and with rising business confidence, now is the time many companies are revisiting growth opportunities that were previously on hold, whilst managing risk appropriately.

“We work closely with businesses to help them reach a sensible balance between investing their cash surpluses and retaining money to maintain liquidity, and Vincenzo’s appointment has introduced further knowledge and experience to the team to help provide businesses with tailored solutions.”

Vincenzo and Peter report to Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking Area Director for the South East Ian Patterson, who said: “I am delighted that we have appointed a Liquidity Solutions expert in the South East who will be able to provide new and prospective clients with innovative solutions to achieve their goals, and look forward to working with Vincenzo.”
