CLOUDBUY DELIVERS PEAK PERFORMANCE ECOMMERCE INITIATIVE ACROSS GCC AND ASIA

Ronald Duncan, Chairman and CIO at cloudBuy plc, the world’s leading transactional cloud platform, has delivered a presentation at the GCC Municipalities and Smart Cities Conference in Dubai on how cloudBuy enables smart cities through improved purchasing, government to citizen engagement and economic development.

This presentation forms part of a series of cloudBuy ‘Peak Performance’ events taking place across the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions in partnership with the UKTI. The focus for the events is how business can save money and drive growth and efficiencies in procurement by using cloud technologies. The events extol the success of the UK Government G-cloud program, which cloudBuy has used to deliver £10 million of saving to government organisations.

The cloudBuy UKTI ‘Peak Performance’ initiative provides an in-depth analysis of sales, costs, and organisational efficiency, and aims to help participating organisations speed up this process by a factor of ten so that the full source- to- pay solution, with analysis and implementation, can be delivered in five months. Duncan references successful ecommerce case studies from the NHS in the UK and Australia State Government.

The ‘Peak Performance’ events will be attended by C-level Executives and take place as follows:
• Mumbai 30 September
• Singapore 2 October
• Sydney 13 October
• Hong Kong 16 October
• Dubai 20 October

Duncan will also deliver a key note address to the Procurement and Supply Australasia Premier Confex in Melbourne on 9 October.

Duncan commented: “Peak performance in sport is all about analysing each performance to deliver improvements faster than your competitors. Team Sky demonstrated again how continuous incremental improvements delivers results with Sir Bradley Wiggins victory in the World Time Trial Championships. In the same way, rapid and accurate benchmarking is required to help businesses analyse performance to achieve significant improvements in sales and operational efficiencies.

“CloudBuy has analysed over $500 billion from world class organisations and is able to provide feedback with identified savings for most organisations in less than 48 hours, thereby enabling rapid improvement.”
