Stewart Title today announced the appointment of Alan Parrish as the Underwriting Counsel and Director of Client Learning to support independent agents in the Southeast region. In his new role, Parrish will be responsible for educating clients on underwriting essentials, monitoring regulatory changes and promoting Stewarts educational resources across Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
A 30 year real estate veteran, Parrish joined the company in 2002 as Claims Counsel before assuming the role of National Claims Counsel administering claims throughout the SE region.
Alans extensive experience in the industry and his deep knowledge of underwriting makes him a perfect fit to support the growth and success of our agents, said Jay Reed, Senior Vice President, Southeast States. His new role reiterates our commitment to our agents and provides the much needed support for our agencies.
Parrish received his BA from the University of South Florida in 1984, his JD from Stetson University College of Law in 1987 and is an active member of the Florida Bar. He will be working out of the Tampa, FL office, reporting directly to Reed, and can be reached by email at [email protected].
