Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has expanded its annual trainee intake by appointing 320 new students, up on the 288 who joined the firm last year, as part of its bid to strengthen the wider growth of the firm and to become first choice adviser to middle market leaders globally.
Seventy-six of the new recruits are school leavers, up on the 52 who joined last year.
This demonstrates RSM’s focus on attracting more who choose to make the jump into the world of professional services as an alternative to going to university.
The move comes just two weeks after ‘A’ level results were announced throughout the UK.
The new intake of graduate and school leaver trainees will be working across 30 of RSM’s UK offices. Sixty-five of the new recruits will be based in London; a further 91 will be based throughout the firm’s southern office network; the rest will be spread throughout the firm’s West and East Midlands, North-West, North-East, Scotland and Northern Ireland regions.
