The package includes (1) exit sign, (2) surface mount 48″ LED light fixtures, (1) 3/4″ feed through, single pole switch, (2) 3/4″ feed through, 125V rated explosion proof outlets, (2) 24″ exhaust fans and one alcohol sensor, all C1D1 rated.
The EXP-EXTRM-20FT-PKG-V1 is an explosion proof extraction room package that includes everything needed to convert a 20-foot container into a Class I Division 1 explosion proof extraction room.
This package includes a single C1D1 explosion proof exit sign that is self-testing and comes equipped with one, 1.1-watt LED lamp and an emergency battery pack. Thanks to a 3.6-volt NiCad battery this light will continue to operate for at least 3 hours in the event of a power outage. This sign features brown-out, short circuit, voltage surge protection, and low voltage disconnect, providing failsafe exit notification for workers in hazardous environments.
The two included 28-watt C1D1 LED light fixtures carry paint spray booth certifications and are equipped with Larson’s special T-Series bulbs. Each lamp produces 3,500 lumens for a total of 7,000 lumens of high-powered illumination. These second-generation LED tube lamps have been re-engineered with a slimmer profile, lighter weight and increased performance.
An explosion proof 3/4″ feed through, single pole switch provides operators with high quality control. This unit is built to handle loads of 120-77V AC up to 20 amps. The entire unit is constructed of malleable iron with an internal sealing chamber constructed of copper-free aluminum to protect all arcing devices.
Two explosion proof 3/4″ feed through 125V C1D1 outlets are included with this extraction room package. These 20-amp rated receptacles are wet area rated and factory sealed. Deeply recessed engineering means accidental contact can be completely avoided, and a twist-lock design provides secure connection. These outlets include both switch circuit breaking protection, as well as switch inter-compatibility.
For safe ventilation of the extraction room, two ventilation fans and an alcohol sensor are included. The sensor is a C1D1 toxic gas transmitter fitted with an alcohol sensor that verifies response checks with real gas samples generated on demand. The sensor is designed to detect alcohol vapors at a range of 0-200ppm and can be configured by the user. Once the sensor detects a high level of butane concentration, one of the explosion roof fans will kick on. Both fans are 24” in diameter and move air at a rate up to 7820 CFM.
