Looking for Media sales suits people who are naturally outgoing and sociable. An excellent telephone manner is essential as are written and oral communication skills. Media sales executives need to possess or develop the ability to persuade clients of the merits of the product they are selling
1. Media sales executives sell advertising space in a variety of communication mediums
research client needs and explain the benefits of buying advertising space, responding to any objections
2. Work with a team to ensure that agreed advertisements are carried in the right place and at the right time.
3. Track records and keep record of sales, contacts and deals.
4. Work to maximise sales and meet targets.As digital sales you are responsible for management of all advertising platforms.
5. Deliver sales reports to management
6. Resilient and able to handle pressure but also be good listeners in order to understand clients’ needs. Need to have a good awareness of targets and revenue and have strong self-discipline and attention to detail.
7. Design the Go to Market strategy.Handling planning and analysis for revenue potential through Market Research.
8.Develop plan for all communications (e. g., email campaigns, mobile, and social media) to ensure a consistent user visibility and brand alignment. Formulating strategies & reaching out to unexplored / new/additional target market segments for business expansion.
