DATA Communications Management Corp. (TSX: DCM) (DCM or the Company) announces it has completed payment of the final promissory note balances owing to the vendors of Eclipse Colour and Imaging (Eclipse) and Thistle Printing (Thistle).
Since purchasing Eclipse and Thistle two years ago, they have contributed positively to our financial results and to our continuing business evolution, said Gregory J. Cochrane, President & CEO of DCM. Continuing to pay down debt through free cash flow generation is one of our top priorities.
Eclipse in particular, is an important element in our strategy to invest in and grow our retail vertical market. At Thistle, our new Heidelberg six-colour CX-102 being installed will further strengthen our capabilities across retail and our other markets and is expected to be operational by the end of the first quarter.
DCM also announces Ralph Misale, one of the former principals of Eclipse, has been promoted from General Manager, Eclipse to Vice President, Operations of DCM, with responsibility for all DCMs manufacturing facilities. Misale will continue to report to Alan Roberts, Senior Vice President Operations.
