Wind River, a leader in delivering software for critical infrastructure, today announced the appointment of Bryan LeBlanc as chief financial officer, effective immediately. He will oversee the companys global financial strategy and operations, and will report to Jim Douglas, president and chief executive officer of Wind River.
A seasoned executive, LeBlanc brings to Wind River nearly three decades of extensive financial experience with small and large technology companies, offering deep expertise in M&A, cash management, equity/debt financing, and software revenue recognition. Most recently, he served as CFO of startup Spire Global Inc., a space to cloud analytics company. Prior to Spire, Bryan was CFO of Jive Software for nine years where he was instrumental in growing and scaling the company, as well as in efforts to launch the companys initial public offering in 2011.
“Wind River welcomes Bryans financial acumen, knowledge of the technology industry, and strong leadership. We are confident he will make an immediate impact during our next chapter as an independent company, said Douglas. With a proven track record in driving transformation and building and sustaining growth, Bryan is a great fit as our new CFO, and he will be a tremendous asset to the team.
It is an exciting time to join Wind River, said LeBlanc. The company is pioneering the technologies to advance digital transformation across multiple industries, and is primed to accelerate the evolution from automated to autonomous systems with its innovative and disruptive software portfolio. I look forward to working with this dynamic team as we embark on Wind Rivers next stage of growth.
Previous to Jive, LeBlanc served in various finance positions at companies including Webtrends Inc., Mercury Interactive Corporation, and inSilicon Corporation. He holds an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and an undergraduate degree from Holy Cross College.
