Wild Planet Foods Earns Global Supplier of the Year and Environmental Stewardship Awards at Whole Foods Market Supplier Awards

Wild Planet Foods was honored by Whole Foods Market with the Global Supplier of the Year & Environmental Stewardship awards at the companys Supplier Awards ceremony in Austin, Texas. The annual awards recognize suppliers that embody Whole Foods Markets mission and values through a proven commitment to quality, environmental stewardship, organic integrity, innovation, and partnership.

We are honored to be selected as Supplier of the Year and deeply gratified to also receive the Environmental Stewardship award, stated Bill Carvalho, founder and president of Wild Planet Foods. These two awards acknowledge Wild Planets commitment to promoting the health of living resources. It has been a pleasure to partner these last 15 years with Whole Foods, who has demonstrated strong leadership in protecting this wild planet.

In addition to the top Global Supplier of the Year award, this year Whole Foods recognized 28 suppliers in various categories. The honorees were selected by Whole Foods Market category experts and buyers who work closely with suppliers on a daily basis.
